Private Music Lessons:
Strings (Suzuki/Traditional), Piano, Guitar, Bass, Percussion, Jazz Improv, Vocal,
Banjo, Mandolin, ukelele, Band/Orchestra Instruments. $17
per private 1/2 hour lesson.
Also:
- Special Programs and hours Designed For Home Schoolers
- Keyboard and Guitar Rentals
- Special programs for Challenged Children. Percussion (hand drums),
piano, and keyboard. We have experienced some amazing results with
these kids!
Another year of Kindermusik
We are excited to be offering Kindermusik for a s
econd year. A nationally recognized
music program for the very young with classes for newborns through pre-schoolers,
happening right here in Oconomowoc, in our new, big, bright Activity Room!
Kristen Gontea, licensed Kindermusick instructor comes to us from Shawano,
Wisconsin with 3 years of prior teaching experience. For more information on

THE POWER OF MUSIC EDUCATION IN CHILD DEVELOPEMENT
It
has often been said that "All the smart kids are in music." What
we now find is that it is actually the music program that are helping
to make smarter kids!
Not only does participation in music help a
child's overall intellectual development , which corresponds to higher
grades and better test scores, but music teaches a child critical
skills that are important in today's workforce; self discipline,
teamwork, problem solving skills, self-seteem and self expression. |
